Guyra Aged Care Facility

The new 32 bed facility was commissioned to replace the existing 23 bed facility. Due to a late redesign, the works were separated into two mains stages the first being a bulk earthworks contract with the construction of the new facility occurring approximately 10 months later.

The works included construction of four new residential wings and a service wing incorporating:

• 28 standard rooms
• 4 disabled access rooms
• Commercial kitchen, cool room & freezer
• Commercial laundry facilities
• Fire sprinkler system
• Carparking, driveways and associated external works
