Brief Description:
The works on Block D and F involved construction of two new lift shafts and installation of numerous sun shading devices to the existing windows. The lift shafts were lined externally with a combination composite aluminium cladding and high performance glazing.
Internally the shafts were finished with fire rated fibre cement linings. The exposed structural steelwork was finished in an epoxy paint finish.
The sun shading devices were pre-fabricated from powder coated aluminium sections and installed over a number of weeks with minimal disruption to the existing TAFE.
