Brief Description: 

The project involved the following works: 

UDRH Education Centre - An extension to the existing Tamworth Base Hospital site and the adjoining two storey “Brudelin Wing” including a 160 Seat Lecture Theatre, Library, Computer Training Room, Seminar, Tutorial Rooms, Staff Offices and Facilities. The building comprised of a concrete and steel structure with alucobond and masonry cladding.

Catheter Lab - Transformation of an existing courtyard into a new Catheter Lab. The works involved partial demolition, new concrete slabs, structural steel and fitout of the new Lab on the Upper Ground Floor. In addition to the Catheter Lab room, equipment, control and holding rooms were also included.

External Works - Construction of new roadway around the new Education Centre, landscaping and new vehicular guard rails.

All works were completed whilst maintaining full functionality of the hospital operating as normal.
