Transgrid Alterations & Additions Coffs Harbour

The works involved a 155m2 extension to the existing auxiliary building to create a new larger workshop space and the complete upgrade of the existing asphalt carpark.

The new works were required to the match the existing building in both style and appearance. The construction consisted of a slab on ground founded on 2m deep bored piers with a structural steel framing system. Externally the building was finished with face bricks and Colorbond steel roofing carefully selected to the match the existing building finishes. A number of the services were upgraded in conjunction with the new works including access control, fire sprinkler system and stormwater.

All the works were all completed whilst the facility remained in full operation, with the O’Donnell & Hanlon management team working closely with Transgrid to ensure minimal disruption.
